Company Story
Double O Academy was created to fill the void that exists in other Private Investigator training programs. You see, what you need is “COMPENSATED “training. The State is very clear that your hours must be earned as an employee and not in a classroom, but actually on-the-job working under a Licensed Private Investigator. That is what we are all about, providing you that opportunity!
Our Experience
The President of Double O Academy is Mr. David Strait, CFE, CFI. Mr. Strait is a Licensed Private Investigator/Qualified Manager and the owner of Advanced Private Investigations, a full service investigative agency. In addition, Mr. Strait owns Spy Gear 4 Less, both an on-line retailer and brick and mortar location for professional surveillance equipment located in Ontario, California. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Forensic Interviewer, a former law enforcement officer and Investigations Director. In addition, Mr. Strait is a NRA Certified Hand Gun Instructor, as well as a DOJ Certified Hand Gun Instructor. Furthermore, Mr. Strait has over 20 years of experience investigating countless criminal, civil and domestic issues.
